Asian Style Salmon

4 servings:


  • 1/12-2lbs salmon (depending on portion size)
  • 3-4 garlic cloves, pressed
  • 1 T grated ginger
  • 2 T tamari
  • 1 T rice vinegar
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • fresh ground pepper
  • 2 green onions, sliced thinly
  • ground sesame seeds to taste

Here’s How:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 or turn on gas grill to medium.
  2. Whisk together everything from garlic to pepper..
  3. Place salmon on  tinfoil large enough to close up. Spread whisked ingredients on top of salmon, close up and place on a cookie sheet if using the oven or directly on the grill.
  4. Bake for approximately 12-15 minutes.
  5. If using oven, broil for 2 more minutes to caramelize.
  6. Garnish with green onions and ground sesame seeds and serve.
