Roasted Turkey Leg with Blackened Seasonings

Ingredients:

  • Turkey Leg
  • Blackened Seasoning mix: 1 T paprika, 2 tsp dry mustard, 1 tsp garlic granules, 1/2 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp dried thyme, 1/2 tsp cumin, 1/4 tsp red pepper, 1/4 tsp sea salt, fresh ground pepper to taste
  • Drizzle of olive oil

Here’s How:

  1. Place turkey leg on cookie sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
  2. Use about 1/2 the blended spice mixture and sprinkle or rib all over leg.
  3. Roast for an hour at 375.
  4. Broil for another 3-5 minutes on each side.
  5. Serve with a nice green salad.
