Turkey Cabbage Sauté inspired by Katie

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 T ghee or avocado oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tsp chopped fresh ginger
  • 4-5 garlic cloves
  • 5-6 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup grated carrots
  • 1/2 cup thinly sliced onions or chopped green onions
  • 2 T toasted sesame oil
  • 2 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1 T liquid aminos or wheat free soy sauce or tamari

Here’s How:

  1. Saute turkey in large skillet with salt and pepper until browned and set aside.
  2. Saute ginger and garlic for 3-5 minutes, add cabbage, carrots and onion until slightly cooked.
  3. Mix meat back in and season with remaining ingredients.
  4. Add salt and pepper as needed.
