Dog Biscuits, PB and Pumpkin

This simple dog biscuit dough is good enough for us to eat. I used the leftovers to make a little granola galette too!

Ingredients:

  • 2/3 cup pureed pumpkin

  • 1/2 cup organic peanut butter

  • 1 1/2 cups oats, ground to a flour

Here’s How:

  1. Preheat oven to 325.

  2. Grind oats in a bullet to a fine powder.

  3. In a bowl, blend the pumpkin and peanut butter.

  4. Gradually add in the flour and form into a ball.

  5. On a piece of parchment, sprinkle some tapioca flour and roll out dough to between an 1/8-1/4 “ thickness. Use a cookie cutter of your choice and place cut outs on a cookie sheet.

  6. Bake until crisp for about 30 minutes and cool on a rack.

  7. Using extra dough, you can roll it out and fill it with chopped nuts, dried fruits, etc. fold it in over and bake for about 25 minutes.
