Raw Cocoa Nut Balls

This easy to make dessert satisfies cravings for chocolate and are nutritious as well!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup pitted dates

  • 1 cup walnuts

  • 3 T organic cocoa powder

  • 1 T vanilla extract

  • 1/4 tsp coarse sea salt

Here’s How:

  1. Blend all ingredients in a food processor and  form into little balls.

  2. Chill and enjoy plain or roll balls in coarse sea salt, finely chopped cocoa nibs, or a mixture of both.

    Tip: You may substitute pecans or almonds for walnuts. I like to make these balls the diameter of nickels, but any size will do.
