Himalayan Tartary Buckwheat Waffles/Pancakes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup himalayan tartary buckwheat flour

  • 1/2 cup almond flour

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 1/4 tsp sea salt

  • 2 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans

  • 1/4 cup softened ghee, coconut oil or avocado oil

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1-2 T monk fruit or 1 T real maple syrup

Here’s How:

  1. Heat waffle iron.

  2. Mix dry ingredients in one bowl and mix softened ghee, coconut oil, or avocado oil into it.

  3. Mix wet ingredients in a separate bowl, then combine with the dry ingredients.

  4. Make waffles, top with nut butter, real maple syrup or however you enjoy your waffles.
