Aioli Sauce
Aioli is an emulsion of garlic and oil, coming from Spain, Italy and France. It is easy and quick to make. It is a delicious and simple dipping sauce. And, a nice accompaniment to crab cakes.
Ingredients:
1 egg, room temperature
1 egg yolk, room temperature
2-3 garlic cloves, peeled
1/2 tsp coarse sea salt
1 T dijon mustard
2 tsp fresh lemon juice
1 cup extra virgin olive oil
Here’s How:
Place eggs and remaining ingredients in a tall glass jar and blend with an immersion blender or place ingredients in a blender and do the same.
Chill and serve as a dipping sauce for crab cakes and more.
