Gluten Free Crab Cakes
Ingredients:
1 egg, beaten
2 T dijon mustard
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp hot sauce
1/3 cup avocado mayonnaise
salt and pepper to taste
1 lb lump crabmeat
3/4 cups ground roasted nuts (walnuts, almonds, pecans)
2 T fresh parsley
1 finely chopped green onion
Avocado oil for sauteeing
lemon wedges for serving
Aioli sauce (optional) for serving
Here’s How:
Whisk together egg and all ingredients listed before the crab meat and set aside.
In another bowl mix crabmeat, crushed nuts and parsley and green onion. Then mix 2 mixtures together and form patties (approximately 8-10 depending upon the size)
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, add oil and when hot, add crab cakes and cook in batches until crispy and golden, 3-5 minutes each side.
Serve with lemon and aioli.
