Chia Hemp Pudding
This is a high fiber, high protein comforting dessert especially in the cooler weather.
Ingredients:
2 cups almond milk unsweetened
4 T chia seeds
4 T hemp hearts or ground hemp seeds
2 tsp maca powder
1 tsp carob powder
a pinch of sea salt
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 T real maple syrup (or 1 T monk fruit, or allulose or 7-9 drops liquid stevia)
1/2 tsp vanilla bean or 1 1/2 tsp real vanilla extract
Here’s How:
Bring milk to slow boil and immediately turn down to simmer.
Add chia and hemp and stir.
Add remaining ingredients except maple syrup and vanilla.
Simmer for 5-7 minutes.
Turn off heat, add remaining ingredients and let sit for 5 minutes.
Enjoy warm or chill and eat cold.
Top with toasted coconut and slivered almonds or a variety of nuts, greek yoghurt, jam and more.
