Date Caramel Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup pitted dates

  • 1 cup hot filtered water

  • 1/4 tsp sea salt

Here’s How:

  1. Pour hot water over dates in a bowl, let sit for 30 minutes. Drain but save the water.

  2. Blend dates with some of the water and the salt and add more water slowly to get to the consistency of a caramel sauce.

  3. Chill or reheat and serve with fresh apples or apple chips, chocolate chips, dried cranberries, and chopped nuts.
