Gluten Free Protein Bars, Yummy!
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups almond flour
1/4 cup coconut flour
1/3 cup whey protein powder, vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/4 cup melted coconut oil, melted
1/2 cup nut butter (almond, peanut, cashew)
3 T real maple syrup
10 medal dates pitted (softened in hot water
1/4 cup almond butter
3 T maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tp sea salt
2-3 T unsweetened almond milk
1 cup melted dark chocolate
pinches of flaky sea salt (for topping)
Here’s How:
Mix together first 5 ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
Blend coconut oil, nut butter and maple syrup and mix into dry ingredients to form a dough.
Press into parchment lined 8/8 dish and freeze while making the rest of the dish.
Using a food processor, chop dates, add rest of ingredients until the chocolate.
Spread over cookie layer.
Melt chocolate in double boiler. Pour and spread over date layer. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
Freeze. Cut into squares and store in freezer.
