Ground Turkey and Cabbage
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 3-5 green onions, chopped
- 4 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 cup sugar snap peas or snow peas
- 1 can sliced water chestnuts
- 2 garlic cloves, minced or pressed
- 1 tsp finely chopped ginger
- 2 T wheat free soy sauce
- 2 T toasted sesame oil or 1 T ghee to saute and 1T sesame oil to season the cabbage
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- 1/2 tsp siracha sauce
- 1 T sweetener of your choice (if using stevia, use less than 1 packet or organic sugar, white or brown, or maple syrup)
Here's How:
- Brown the meat and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Heat 1 T fat and saute the cabbage and onion and garlic for 5-7 minutes. Add meat and rest of ingredients and cover to lightly cook the snow and snap peas.
- Serve and enjoy.
