Krispy Kale Chips
- 1 bunch of green or red curly kale
- 1 -2 T extra virgin olive oil
Seasoning options:
- garlic granules to taste (optional)
- 5 T stone ground mustard
- fresh ground pepper (optional)
or
- 2 T nutritional yeast
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
Here's How:
- Preheat oven to 250 degres.
- Wash and dry Kale and tear into big pieces and spread out on 2 cookie sheets.
- Drizzle olive oil on kale, and massage into leaves.
- Sprinkle with garlic.
- Place mustard in hands in batches and massage into kale.
- Bake in oven and check every 10-15 minutes, removing pieces that are crispy and placing least done pieces on the perimeter of pan as they will cook quicker.
- Serve as appetizer of veggie dish or sprinkle on green salad to add texture and interest.
