Marinade for Grilled Meat: Steak, Ribs, Poultry
Ingredients:
- 3 pounds meat of your choice; sirloin steak, ribs or poultry
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic - minced
- 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
- 1/3 cup soy sauce (wheat free)
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Here's How:
- Mix marinade by placing everything but oil in a glass measuring cup and whisk together.
- Slowly whisk in oil
- Place meat in plastic bag in a bowl and pour marinade over to sit for 1-3 hours in fridge.
- Turn grill on 20 minutes before cooking.
- Remove meat, place on cookie sheet and sprinkle dried seasonings of your choice; paprika, a touch of red pepper, sea salt, cumin, oregano, rosemary or whatever suits your entire meal.
- If cooking steak, cook approximately 6 minutes per side on medium heat, depending upon preference for doneness.
- If cooking poultry, on medium heat, cook 8 minutes on each side if without bone, or 12 min with the bone.
- If cooking ribs, 12 minutes per side at medium.
- Meanwhile, place marinade in sauce pan, bring to simmer and cook until thickens.
- Serve as a dipping sauce after meat cools for 5 minutes.
- Can grill veggies such as zucchini and sweet potato to complete meal.
