Roasted Carrots
Ingredients:
- 6-8 fresh sweet carrots
- 2 tsp coconut aminos or tamari
- 2 tsp maple syrup
- 1/4 cup chopped roasted nuts of your choice (filberts, almonds, walnuts, pecans)
- salt to taste
- a sprig of parsley (garnish)
Here's How:
- Quarter carrots length wise and place in a bowl for tossing.
- Sprinkle with liquid aminos and maple syrup.
- Season with salt and toss.
- Place on greased cookie sheet and roast at 400 for 12-15 minutes.
- Garnish with parsley
- Serve on a white small plate so orange color pops.
