Date Nut Chocolate Bars
These easy delicious healthful bars are inspired my daughter…
Ingredients:
1 lb dark chocolate, melted in double boiler
1 T coconut oil (optional)
20 pitted dates, cut in half and pressed open
1 cup slivered almonds
1 cup creamy almond butter
flaked sea salt (optional)
8/8 “ pyrex dish covered with parchment paper
Here’s How:
Melt dark chocolate
Spread a thin layer on top of parchment.
Sprinkle 1/2 of the almonds on top of chocolate.
Arrange dates side by side, face up on top of nuts.
Spread a thin layer of almond butter on top.
Sprinkle the rest of nuts.
Cover with remaining melted chocolate.
Sprinkle with sea salt flakes.
Chill in fridge until set.
Cut into portions of your liking.
