Tasty Slightly Spicy Chicken Wings

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of organic chicken wings (about 12 pieces, drumettes and wingettes)

  • 2 T olive oil

  • 2 tsp garlic granules

  • 2 tsp onion powder

  • 2 tsp 21 seasoning salute (Trader Joe’s) or could sub oregano

  • 1 T smokey paprika

  • 1 tsp cumin powder

  • 1/2 tsp cayenne powder

  • 1/2 tsp chili powder

  • 1 tsp sea salt

  • 1/2 tsp fresh ground pepper

Ranch Dressing for Dipping:

  • 1/2 cup avocado mayonnaise

  • 2 T cashew milk (could use almond milk)

  • 1 1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar

  • 1/4 tsp garlic granules

  • 1/4 tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp sea salt

  • fresh ground pepper

  • 1 1/2 tsp fresh dill or 1/2 tsp dried dill weed

  • 1 T chopped green onions or chives

Here’s How:

  1. Mix all ingredients of Ranch Dressing and chill in fridge.

  2. Preheat oven to 400.

  3. Air dry chicken wings on parchment on a cookie sheet.

  4. Mix dry rub ingredients in a bowl.

  5. Use a paper towel to be sure wings are dry, then rub olive oil all over them.

  6. Dip in dry rub to coat thoroughly and place on parchment on cookie sheet.

  7. Bake in oven for 15-20 minutes, flip and bake another 10-15 minutes.

  8. Serve with dipping sauce.
