Green Tahini Dip
Tahini, also known as sesame butter is one of my favorite staples in my kitchen. It is a paste made from sesame seeds. It is full of healthy fats, vitamins and minerals. I have posted many recipes using tahini, especially lots of dips that are quick and easy to prepare.
Ingredients:
2 garlic cloves
1/2 cup fresh basil
1/2 cup cilantro
1 cup tahini
1/8 preserved lemon or juice of 1 lemon
1/2-3/4 cup water
Here’s How:
Use a food processor, pulse first 3 ingredients.
Add preserved lemon and pulse.
Add tahini and pulse.
Add water slowly until desired consistency for your taste is achieved.
Chill and serve with vegetables, crackers or as a sauce for veggies or grain.
