Green Tahini Dip

Tahini, also known as sesame butter is one of my favorite staples in my kitchen. It is a paste made from sesame seeds. It is full of healthy fats, vitamins and minerals. I have posted many recipes using tahini, especially lots of dips that are quick and easy to prepare.

Ingredients:

  • 2 garlic cloves

  • 1/2 cup fresh basil

  • 1/2 cup cilantro

  • 1 cup tahini

  • 1/8 preserved lemon or juice of 1 lemon

  • 1/2-3/4 cup water

Here’s How:

  1. Use a food processor, pulse first 3 ingredients.

  2. Add preserved lemon and pulse.

  3. Add tahini and pulse.

  4. Add water slowly until desired consistency for your taste is achieved.

  5. Chill and serve with vegetables, crackers or as a sauce for veggies or grain.
