High Protein Bread
This is tasty quick bread that is very high protein. Toast it slightly and add some nut butter. Yum!
Ingredients:
6 eggs
3/4 cups almond butter
1/4 cup coconut oil or melted ghee
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
2 T honey or maple syrup (can use same amount of allulose or monk fruit for low carb)
1/4 cup ground flax seeds
3 T almond flour or garbanzo flour or combination
1/2 tsp sea salt
1 tsp baking soda
Here's How:
Preheat oven to 350.
Line a loaf pan with parchment and grease or simply grease the pan.
Mix first 5 ingredients with an electric mixer or immersion blender.
Mix dry ingredients in a separate bowl.
Mix dry into wet and pour into loaf pan.
Bake for approximately 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
Cool completely before storing in an airtight container for a week in the fridge.
You may toast but due to all the eggs, go lightly as it will burn easily.
